About 10 months ago I wrote to you concerning our Haflinger horse “Buttercup”. She was 13 years old at that time and had very bad cracks in her front hooves (see “before” pictures). Her former owner said she has always had trouble with cracking. They were big cracks and I wanted to make sure we are doing the best we could for her since she is a wonderful bomb proof “kid perfect” horse. I met you at the Life Data Labs booth at the Madison, WI show. I wanted to keep you up to date with the changes in my Peruvian after two weeks of your hoof supplement.

The name of my horse is ‘Sonador’ (Dreamer) after the horse in the movie of the same name. I chose that name because like the horse in the movie, this Dreamer was destined for the same fate when she was offered to me as a rescue. She wasn’t unusable because of a health problem but rather because she had never been handled and through neglect and abuse she was a pretty extreme animal for anyone to handle. My 23 years old Polish half-breed gelding had lost weight, his skin itched and his overall condition was not good. Unfortunately, he was also diagnosed with hoof canker on his left front foot. I unsuccessfully tried everything possible to solve the problem. His general condition was, I regret to say, very poor. I have a gelding I purchased very late last fall. After owning him approximately 10 days he had a massive blowout of a bad abscess that came out along the hair line and halfway across his hoof.
