Life Data® Broodmare and Growing Horse Pelleted Feed Concentrate is a source of required daily nutrients for all broodmares and growing horses. Calorie requirements vary widely between broodmares and growing horses, and must be addressed separately from other nutrient requirements. When compounded feeds are used, the nutrients added to the feed are “force fed” into the horse at indiscriminate amounts in order to meet the calorie requirements to grow the fetus, lactate or gain weight. This leads to over-supplementation of horses requiring a high calorie intake at their higher feeding levels and insufficient nutrient supplementation of the easy keeper mares. Life Data® allows the horse owner to separate the calorie requirements for gestation, lactation or growth from other nutrient requirements. Proper feeding during gestation and growth results in a healthier horse!
Formulated utilizing the Life Data® Nutrition Research Program with additional reference to the nationally recognized NRC Nutrient Requirements of Horses. Available in 11 lb nitrogen flushed vacuum bags. Measuring cup not included in 11 lb bag.

* Hay, pasture and whole oats consumption are guidelines only. Hay, pasture and whole oats quality can vary. Fresh pasture grass can contain up to 80% moisture. Thirty to forty pounds of pasture is the equivalent of approximately ten pounds of hay. The average broodmare beginning in the eighth or ninth month of pregnancy and continuing through lactation will require ½ to 1% of body weight in oats per day, divided into two or more feedings. Horses may receive supplements for specific individual needs, such as Farrier’s Formula® for hoof problems.
““Here are the pictures of my mare "A Painted Day in May". She likes to eat your supplement, Life Data Broodmare & Growing Horse, and her body condition is perfect. The birth of her foal yesterday morning went smoothly without any problems. She didn't even sweat! The little one is also super agile and fit. So, thank you again for your great advice and support.”
